How to remove AVG anti-virus completely?

You have been using AVG anti-virus for years. But Now, you have changed your mind and wanted to use another anti-virus software, for example Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 or so, for your personal computer. However, The Kaspersky cannot be installed until you remove the former AVG Anti-Virus one.

Then, you go to to Start > Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs or Programs to uninstall it, but the error message keeps popping up when you install the Kaspersky one. It means that it requires you to COMPLETELY uninstall the AVG.

How to completely remove AVG from your computer?

a/ Download the Avg remover here
b/ When the download finishes, then click on the .exe file to run it.
c/ A Welcome box appears click “Run”.

d/ Now it will require you to restart your computer to completely remove the AVG registry from your computer. A *txt report file will be created to show you what have been removed.

You are done.
